Well I finally decided to participate in a community event. So here is my DeviantArt story. I joined DeviantArt on December 9th in 2011, two and a half years later I am still here.
"Haunted Eyes" I joined DA before I started digital art and this was the first piece I uploaded. Created with graphite and pencil crayon. It was a major mile stone for me as an artist. It was my first accurate portrait.
A month later I tried my hand at digital art. Using a mouse and Gimp I created the original version of the piece I called "New Life"
A few weeks later I got a Wacom Bamboo Pen drawing tablet and started using an old version of Photoshop I found at my Mom's house. At first I wasn't so sure about digital art because it took so long to do anything and I had to share the computer with both of my older brothers. It was hard to even get an uninterrupted hour on the desktop.
After a few months I started to get good with my tablet, it had become my friend rather than the arch-nemesis it had been before. I progressed beyond simple line drawings. Chief among them were "Narid'avin", "Under The Sea", and "New life (2.0)".

Four months later it was September and I was still getting better.
"Dryad", "Violinist", "Gradient of the Sky", and "The Ski Hill"

After this the story is not quite as interesting. After those months my learning curve slowed.
"Miriquel's Fall" and "The Puppet Master",

That fall I picked up the pace a bit, with "Night Passage", "Bridge to Nowhere", "The forest has eyes can you see them?" and "Warmth"

Around Christmas time in 2013 I discovered the open source program called Krita. It fit the way I worked better than Photoshop or Sai had.
In the last eight months i have created more than at any time before.
